Making a house a home with Courtney

The biggest value comes from helping obtain a tenant who would easily fall in love with the property and call it their own.

Meet:
Courtney Rumble

Courtney’s our Senior Property Manager who works closely alongside our Landlords and Tenants to provide a service which is rather unheard of in the Property Management industry.

Courtney takes a very consultative approach in providing the greatest service for all properties she manages, current listing of 18 Glossop Street is a prime example.

The Landlords bought the property over to Villager from another agency whilst it was still tenanted. On Courtney’s first inspection, she could see this little charmer had an abundance of potential. She did, however, note a few areas that were starting to deteriorate, which is to be expected with a house of its age.

18.Glossop.Street_NEW.LAMBTON-14

“Whilst I know no one likes spending when things aren’t broken the owners understood the value of freshening up the interior. There would indeed be a financial return but the biggest value comes from helping obtain a tenant who would easily fall in love with the property and call it their own.”

Once the opportunity arose, Courtney set about organising all the trades. She met them on site to gather quotes for painting, flooring and carpet installers.

“We have a great relationship with our trades, which assist us in ensuring a quick turnaround, not only of quoting but in the commencement of work. Our painter, Andrew from ASC Painting, rescheduled his workload to accommodate us. Thanks Andrew!”

Craftsman from Newcastle Timber Flooring also named Andrew on the job doing a superb work with the sander. We are loving the end result, matt finish and all!18.Glossop.Street_NEW.LAMBTON-19And thanks to Dean Conway and the team from Independent Carpets for their speedy work.

From meeting the trades to quote, through to having the property up and ready for inspection, took 4 weeks.

“I like to work closely with our Landlords to ensure a high standard of care to their property that will help attract an amazing Tenant who can easily call the property home.”
